I can’t put into words how much I enjoyed this episode of Interior Design Masters.
Even though it was one of the most challenging projects I’ve done on the show, it was also one of the most exciting ones!
Working with Nicki was AMAZING… We went ALL in for this project, and I’m so happy our hard work paid off! And oh gosh how hard we worked!
We also had a lot of fun, as we got to share a lodge while we stayed there, so it was lots of late nights talking about life and our IDM experience while making curtains and painting chairs! That week I got a friend for life, and I feel so lucky for it!
The icing on the cake was the judge’s feedback!
Also, I need to mention how sad it was to say goodbye to the beyond talented Kyle.
Off camera we were all in bits. He was a big part of the show, and when he left, most of us felt like a big piece of our journey was going with him. Kyle, I can’t wait to see the beautiful things that are coming on your way… you’re a star!
Here are some details about the project:
Budget: £1500 for kitchen + dining room + living room £750 for each bedroom £500 for outside.
See the pics below.
To a colourful life,
Ju xx

Hello! Just watched this episode. What a great combination of your styles! The rooms all looked so good. I was wondering if you could tell me more about the painting you used on the nightstand in your bedroom? It reminds me of one of my favorite artists, Robert Cox. Thanks!
Thanks so much, Sarah! Really happy you liked it. Unfortunately, I don’t know much about the painting, I was looking for a painting that had green to tie the scheme together and luckily found this beauty on eBay. I’ll deffo check it out Robert Cox’s work. Thanks so much again! xx
Just finished the series, and this was by far my favorite design. I absolutely loved the theme of bringing the outdoors in. The master and guest bedrooms look so fresh and exactly what I would want in my own home. I hope to recreate a similar look in my bedroom,
So happy you loved it, Courtney! It was my fave design too – and we had SOOO much fun working on it! Thanks so much for your lovely words and have fun designing your home. Keep me posted? I would love to see it! xx
