Ready? Grab your cuppa and let’s get started!

Tip no 1: Colour

The right colours can add warmth to your space and make it feel cosier.
So, add touches of yellow, orange, pink or red.
You can do it with cushions, curtains, wallpapers and furniture, for example.

Tip no 2: Texture

Have you ever entered a room and it felt bland, cold and a bit boring?
It’s because it was missing texture!

With texture, you can add interest, layers, and warmth to any space.

Think shaggy rugs, woolly blankets, velvet cushions, linen curtains,
plants and natural fibres like rattan, for example!

This trick also works if you have an all-white/ neutral room and want to make it cosy without adding colour.

Tip no 3: Lighting

Your room should have at least 3- 4 different sources of indirect lighting in your room.
By that I mean, table lamps, pendant lamps, floor lamps, wall lights…

Because they’ll create pools of soft lighting in different areas of your room, and add to that sense of cosiness and make your nights in feel so much more special.
Also, when buying light bulbs, check the box to make sure you’re buying the warm version. As white lighting maker the space feel cold.

Ok, let’s recap!

  1. Splash touches of yellow, pink, orange or red.
  2. Go crazy with textures
  3. Add lamps and indirect lighting
